Plein Air Belhaven

Please Join us at Plein Air Belhaven on, Saturday, July 15, 2023. Our Plein Air Belhaven Event is being hosted by Belhaven Community Chamber of Commerce & Welcome Center, and Sanger Art Studio.  Artists must be 18 years of age and older to participate. There is a $25 registration fee for each artist. You may work in all mediums.

This competition starts with a sign in and any amount of canvas, boards or paper stamping between the hours of 8am-10 am.at Belhaven Community Chamber of Commerce & Welcome Center located at 265 E Water Street, Belhaven, NC 27810. Artists will receive a swag bag and name tag. Artists may set up their easels and paint anywhere in town, obeying parking rules. Paintings done at this event must be for sale. (sales are encouraged).

At 3pm all artists are asked to submit up to 2 paintings that were painted only during this one day event. They must be set up on your easel at River Forest Manor. The judging will start by 3:30. Winners will be announced at the reception at 4 pm. Artists and public are invited to attend.

There is a 20% commission due from each sale to the Chamber of Commerce. All sales are through them that day. All unsold paintings must be removed with artists easel at the end of the reception. If your painting(s) are sold you will receive your check within a month after the event.
