PLAN A VISIT
Whether you are here for a day or a long weekend, there’s plenty to do in the tri-community area. We encourage all visitors to stop in for brochures and recommendations about where to eat, have fun, shop and stay while you are in the area.
With a rich cultural heritage that spans over two centuries, Belhaven has been home to countless merchants and shops, each with their own unique offerings. That tradition continues today: eclectic shops and boutiques line the historic district and offer a wide range of items, antiques, and curiosities that can’t be found anywhere else. While shopping take notice of the architecture of the buildings.
Throughout the year Belhaven hosts compelling events that tell its unique story. Whatever you’re interested in–from music and art to nature and watersports–you can bet we have an event just for you.
The Belhaven Community Chamber and Welcome Center is the center for information about Belhaven and other nearby tourist attractions.
Located across the street from the Town Dock on Wynne’s Gut, you can sit on the porch and enjoy the view of the water. A comfortable visitor’s lounge offers a place to get out of the heat/ cold and rest for a bit. A book exchange, free WIFI, and a public restroom are available.
